How do I contact Mufftech?

I have contacted Mufftech, when will I hear back from you?

Our team works hard to respond to all inquiries as quickly as possible and pride ourselves on great customer service. Noting this, we are a small family run business who can only work so many hours in a day.

We respond to all customer inquiries queries between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday, apart from public holidays.

Any warranty or refund inquiries will be considered active from the date of your outreach (not our response).

Does Mufftech offer a warranty?

Yes - our Mufftech Bluetooth Earmuffs come with a 12-month limited warranty. Our limited warranty means that we will replace or repair your set of Mufftech earmuffs, free of charge, within 12-months from date of purchase, should there be a manufacturing defects.

Our additional Mufftech parts (Mufftech Hardhat Mounting Brackets and Mufftech Soft Cushions for Glasses) come with a 3-month limited warranty. Our limited warranty means that we will replace or repair these parts, free of charge, within 3-months from date of purchase, should there be a manufacturing defects.

If you believe your product may be defective, please contact us as soon as possible. We will consider your warranty request active from the date of your outreach. 

Is there a money back guarantee with Mufftech?

We stand by the quality of our Mufftech products and are confident you will be satisfied with your purchase. If, for any reason, they are not working then we will repair of refund you. Items must be returned in their original condition, complete with all packaging and components. See the contact page or email us directly at sales@mufftech.co.nz for returns, refunds and exchanges.

When will my Mufftech order ship?

Most items will be delivered within 2-3 business days from date of purchase. We pack and send orders every day Monday to Friday, except for public holidays.

How do I track my Mufftech order?

Most items will be delivered within 2-3 business days from date of purchase. At your time of purchase, you will be sent a confirmation email and then another email containing your delivery information and tracking details will be sent, once your item has been collected by the courier. This should occur within 24hours of purchase Monday to Friday.

Do you ship outside of Australia and New Zealand?

We currently ship to addresses within Australia and New Zealand.

Purchases over $1000AUD are subject to regular customs duties and fees. As we do not track or levy these taxes ourselves, it is the responsibility of the customer to pay them.

Can I return my Mufftech Earmuffs or Parts for a refund?

All our Mufftech products come with a 30-day-money-back-gaurantee. If for any reason you are unhappy with your product and want to return it for a refund, please reach out to us within 30 days of your purchase date. How do I charge my Mufftechs?

Your hearing protector has been shipped to you with only a partial charge on its integrated lithium ion battery pack. To charge the hearing protector, insert the supplied Type-C connector cable into the Type-C jack located on the bottom of the right cup of the hearing protector. Connect the other end of the cable to a suitable USB power source such as a computer or third party certified (UL, Intertek, etc.) AC to USB wall adapter.

The LED will be blink red while charging and change to solid red when complete.

How do I connect to my device via Bluetooth?

Once powered on, the LED will be blink blue.

Make sure your Bluetooth enabled device is scanning/searching for devices. Check your device to make sure it has discovered “Mufftech” Select “Mufftech” to connect to the hearing protector.

Once connected successfully, the LED on the right cup will turn blue.

Your Bluetooth audio volume will be controlled by your device.

The next time you power up, your hearing protector will automatically connect to your device

How do I take incoming calls?

In Bluetooth Mode, incoming phone calls will cause the music to be muted and you will hear your phone’s ringtone until the call has ended. To answer an incoming call, press the POWER button once.

To disconnect from a call, press the button once more.

To reject a call and return to Bluetooth audio, press and hold the POWER button.

How to change tracks, increase or decrease volume?

To pause or play audio on your device, you can single press the POWER button .

To advance tracks, press the “>” button. Press “<” to select the previous track.

Press the “ ⋀ ”  “ V ” button to adjust the volume.

*Some devices may not be compatible with this feature and will have to be operated using their native controls.

 Note: Please adjust the volume of the phone too when
connecting if you think it is too loud or too low!!!

WARNING: *Do not listen at high volume levels for long
periods

How do I turn it on?

Power:
Press and hold power
button for 2 seconds to power ON/OFF headset.

Low Battery Warning: 
Hearing protector will also provide a “Battery Low” warning by bleeping voice when battery voltage is low.

Auto Shut-Off:
5 minutes after either Bluetooth or the audio input is disconnected, the hearing protector will automatically power down. After auto shut-off, press and hold the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds to turn back on.
